Fixed handle carriers with original dual colors are pretty rare.
This example is especially desirable because of the beautiful overall wear to the original surface.
The surface tells us quite a bit about the people that made and used it.
This well made and delicate utilitarian carrier was used regularly by a Canterbury, NH Shaker Sister
and it is still in perfect condition.
